Trucks In My Shower

(A strange but true poem by me)

I hear trucks in my shower. I hear them every day.
They sound like really big trucks. I wish they'd go away.
I hear them backing up. I hear them changing gears.
I thought it was construction but I've heard them for three years.
The revving of the motor. The shaking of the ground.
I feel the trucks around me. I don't just hear their sound.
I don't hear them in the kitchen. I don't hear them in my bed.
Are there trucks in my shower or are they in my head?

  2. I am embarrassed by the fact that I play with toy trucks at my age and I thought that if I only play with them while you are in your shower, you'd never know. Sorry.
