Basically, scientists have discovered (or at least are theorizing) that manufacturing certian metals in a certain way in zero gravity can make them stronger and lighter. Space travel intrigues me, and probably everyone else. I've always wondered why we aren't trying harder to get to Mars. There's a good chance the biggest reason is cost. Well, if there's a way to turn a profit in space, you can bet the first departure time for Mars just got moved up a bit.
